We are qualified midwives who have worked in NHS hospitals for four years. In order to practice the midwife’s role as we see it, we have now chosen to work outside of the NHS in a self employed capacity,  We support the NHS aims and ideals and work very much in conjunction with NHS hospitals where it is necessary.

We truly love our job and feel passionately about women having a positive experience. At times the constraints of working within the NHS prevented us from spending the time with women that is necessary.

The NCT has often picked up the shortfall but they aren’t midwives. Many people are unable to make classes that are affiliated to the hospital where they will have their baby, due to their busy working lives. This shouldn’t make it impossible to access antenatal education. We can provide a service that offers a variety of sessions, one to ones in your own homes, weekend sessions in small groups, evening sessions or an all day session. Our courses suit a variety of budgets and lifestyles.
